Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and TaskDeck (“TaskDeck”, “we”, “us”) for the use of the TaskDeck service at www.taskdeck.app, its installable app, the KAI assistant, the MCP server and the APIs (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- Give accurate registration details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password, API keys and connected authorizations secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- If you use TaskDeck on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind it to these terms.
- Workspace owners decide who is invited and which role (Owner, Admin or Member) each person has, and are responsible for their members’ use of the workspace.
2. Your content
You keep all rights to the content you and your workspace put into TaskDeck (tasks, updates, attachments, client information, time entries, reports and so on). You grant us a limited permission to host, copy, process and display that content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights and legal bases to store it, including personal data about your own clients. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including privacy and intellectual property;
- upload malware or content that is unlawful, abusive or deceptive;
- try to access accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the Service’s vulnerabilities without our written permission;
- overload or disrupt the Service, including through excessive automated requests to the APIs or the MCP server;
- resell or provide the Service to third parties as your own product without our agreement;
- use the AI features to generate unlawful content or to violate the policies of the AI providers.
4. AI features
- KAI uses third-party AI models. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. KAI proposes tasks as drafts that you review before anything is created; you are responsible for checking drafts and any AI output before relying on it.
- Do not rely on AI output as professional, legal, financial or safety advice.
- Using TaskDeck from Claude through the MCP server also requires an account with Anthropic and is subject to Anthropic’s terms. Actions Claude takes through the connection are performed with your permissions.
5. Integrations and APIs
You are responsible for the systems you connect to TaskDeck (for example through the Alerts API) and for keeping API keys secret. We may limit or revoke access that threatens the stability or security of the Service.
6. Fees
If we offer paid plans, their prices and terms will be presented to you before you are charged, and you will be able to decide whether to subscribe.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep TaskDeck available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may add, change or remove features, and may need to suspend the Service for maintenance or security reasons. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce the Service, when we can.
8. No warranty
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law, including the Brazilian Consumer Defense Code where it applies.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, TaskDeck will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, such as in cases of fraud or willful misconduct.
10. Termination
- You can stop using TaskDeck at any time. To close your account and delete your data, email support@taskdeck.app. Export any reports you need first.
- We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly breach these terms, or when required by law. Where reasonable we will notify you first and give you a chance to export your content.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Disputes will be settled by the competent courts in Brazil, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rule that gives you the right to bring a claim in the courts of your own domicile.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
